• “Delete” in "10th Third Eye Asian Film Festival"

Iranian short film “Delete” entered into the competition section of 10th edition of Mumbai Third Eye Asian Film Festival.

“Delete“ is directed by Kazem Mollaie and would compete with other short films in 10th edition of Third Eye Asian Film Festival.

Sudhir Nandgaonkar, Indian film critic and one of the jury members in 60th Cannes Film Festival would be the Third Eye Asian Film Festival Director.

Mollaie’s short film enjoys an abstract and fantasy issue and narrates the story of a young man who is experiencing the deletion of his life.
The 11-minute film has won the Audience Award at the 28th Tehran International Short Film festival and has been awarded as the event's best experimental film.

Delete has also been screened at numerous international festivals, including 2nd Corinthian-Peloponnesian International Film Festival in Greece, Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival in India and Cusco International Short Film Festival in Peru.

The 10th Third Eye Asian Film Festival will take place in Mumbai from December 22-29, 2011. The P.L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy has joined hands with Asian Film Foundation to host the festival this year.

According to Festival Director, Sudhir Nandgaonkar, over 400 entries have been received from different Asian countries including Iran, China, Japan, Philippines and Indonesia. Out of these, 100 feature films and 50 short films will be shown during the week-long festival.

Films will be screened under the sections—Spectrum Asia, First/Second Film Competition, Short Film Competition, Focus on one Asian country and Retrospective
The 10th Third Eye Asian Film Festival will be held from December 22 to 29, 2011.
